New Year, New Goals, New Work!

I truly hope that everyone was able to enjoy this holiday season with all their loved ones, friends and family. It goes by so fast, and I notice it more than ever now-a-days. So, because time files, and I don't want to waste any of it, I have decided that this will be my "take back the art" year. I've been involved in painting, drawing and photography for many years and figure there is no better time than now to really get serious about my passions. I will be launching a new website soon devoted to fine art and fine art photography, will still be offering commissioned pet portraits and lifestyle photography sessions, and plan (fingers crossed) to "get out there" a bit more with the pieces that I create.

So to start, the first commission completed for the New Year. In Memory of Rex, an 11"x14" pencil piece for a friend who lost a beloved dog.

A big thank you to Hedi Nowak of The Upstairs at Harrop Restaurant for giving me the opportunity to display some of my acrylic pieces for public viewing. If you are in the Milton area, The Gallery is a MUST visit for those who appreciate fine art of all styles.

Keep an eye out for more pieces coming soon, and if you are interested in commissioning a portrait of your pet, or having a portrait created as a gift for the pet lover in your life, please do not hesitate to contact me any time info@chickadoo.com and check out the website for more details www.petportraitscanada.com

Happy Holidays!

Wishing everyone a safe and happy Holiday Season. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Pet Portrait in Acrylic

Finally, another painting to post! Things have been crazy around here, and I lack the time to post (unfortunately), but here's one that was just completed and handed off to the happy client. 12"x12" acrylic on canvas of this cute little Cocker Spaniel. A Christmas gift from daughter to mother.

If you are looking for a unique gift idea for that special pet lover in your life, why not an original acrylic painting of their furry friend?  Contact info@chickadoo.com or check out the website for details www.petportraitscanada.com
